Overview
Akros Anti-cheat is enforcing new baseline system security requirements to ensure a secure and trusted environment for all players.
Starting in early 2026, systems that do not meet these requirements will be blocked from playing on servers protected by Akros.
Enforcement dates
Windows 11: Enforcement begins January 1, 2026
Windows 10: Enforcement begins March 1, 2026
These dates are final. There will be no grace period after enforcement begins.
Required system settings
All players must have the following enabled:
UEFI BIOS mode
Secure Boot
TPM 2.0 (Trusted Platform Module)
If any of these requirements are missing or disabled, Akros Anti-cheat will prevent the game from launching or connecting to protected servers.
What happens if requirements are not met
Players who do not meet the requirements:
Will see a warning prior to enforcement
Will be unable to play once enforcement is active
Cannot bypass these checks
This applies regardless of hardware performance or OS version compatibility.
Why these requirements are mandatory
These security features are required to:
Establish hardware-backed trust
Prevent kernel-level tampering
Enforce integrity guarantees needed by Akros Anti-cheat
Systems without these protections cannot be considered secure.
How to check and enable the required features
Instructions for verifying and enabling UEFI mode, Secure Boot, and TPM 2.0 are available in the Akros Knowledge Base:

Most systems will require changes in BIOS/UEFI settings, followed by a reboot.
Recommendation
Players should verify and update their system configuration as soon as possible. Waiting until enforcement dates may result in lost access if BIOS changes or hardware upgrades are required.

Ensure BIOS/UEFI firmware is up to date
Confirm TPM is enabled and detected by the OS
Verify Secure Boot is active (not just supported)
Contact Akros support with system details
